I’m feeling just that little bit proud. Now on Day 6 of my Yoga & Meditation challenge. To write it down certainly helps! I think to some extent we, as human beings, all want to improve a little. For me the best way seems to do it in smaller increments. Just 3 more kilos less, just a bit more yoga, just a bit more family time, just those few more hours at work, just cook more from scratch at home etc. etc. Part of my goal with this blog is to recommend small things in life that will make you feel just that little bit better and happier- with life and about yourself. I really think it is the small things that we do that can actually make a big difference to your daily life: how you feel about yourself, which also reflects on the outside and creates good energy. I really believe this.
So- one more day- for now- with this challenge. I have plenty more up my sleeve. Feel free to join at anytime and also to come up with suggestions what you would like to partake in. It truly is a lot easier to stick to these challenges by sharing them like this in the blogosphere and writing them down.Come on- let’s go! It’s the small things in life that creates positivity and make you feel good.

Maybe not the healthiest of breakfasts starting the day sampling cake batter… but it’s dairy and egg free:
1. Set oven on 160c/ 320f
2. Mix the dry ingredients together:
1 2/3 cup of sifted flour
4 tbs of baking powder
1 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of cocoa powder
2 tbs of vanilla sugar
3. Mix this with:
1 3/4 cup of dairy free liquid
3 tbs of oil or dairy free butter
4. Mix all together in a bowl
5. Pour this all in a greased floured pan (22cm)
6. Bake for 40mins, check that it comes out clean after testing it with a toothpick or similar
7. Cool it then enjoy!

So I just completed another session in Calm. It is a great App. I am by no means a Yoga or Meditation expert but I find that this is an App that makes it easier for someone like me who is not used to meditate at all. I think that this is a good investment for yourself.
Now it’s time to enjoy the weekend!

Ok I’m taking a small break here. This is a cool photo app called PhotoLab. I’m just trialling it right now. Quite handy to be able to photo shop pictures! Especially as you’re getting older and when you’ve not got ready for the day really!
Ok now back to reality.
