Friday inspiration!

Amazing- another Friday. I’m privileged to be able to write that in black and white. I can also truly attest to the fact how much your attitude matters. Yesterday morning I felt stressed; too much, too many expectations! I’m also a yes person as I always want so much- good and bad. But as the morning evolved I decided to inspire. I decided to reach out to individuals near me who have been there in my current career- to thank them- to a handful of people and my day just changed 180 degrees. I also decided that I’m in charge so moved a few meetings. I’m in control- and I can say no! So a stressful day eventually turned out to be one of my recent better days! I so recommend that if you at times feel overwhelmed to just do something out of the ordinary. Change direction and be grateful!

Today, Friday, and I’m so grateful: the sun is shining, birds are singing and summer is here. Enjoy every minute of every hour. We truly are privileged to get to experience another day.

Stress in this modern world?!

So stress- what is this? Is it a recent modern concept? Or are we just better at categorising and naming things?

How are you getting along with this week’s challenge? I challenge you!

I’ve managed most days but yesterday and feel a bit overwhelmed with items in my personal and professional life. A lot of big decisions and events to go through these next few months. So what better way of managing this by running! So tonight I will set aside 30 minutes minimum just for me. To just put on my trainers, let the wind grab my hair, smell the fresh air and let one leg after the other push me further. Not to even think about it, just to do it… just… for me… I so recommend!!! Will you join???

Focus, vision, goal and affirmation!

Focus this week is to deliberately seek out to achieve goals; work, family and personal. I choose to do that.

Vision is to feel content. Content with what I achieve. We are all human and do the best we can with what we have!

Goal is to be and remain focused and to succeed with my goals that I’m setting this week.

Affirmation for this week is” I am brave, fearless, bold and strong”. It’s about that confidence and omitting that and to feel it from within. Use your energy! You can and you will. I so recommend! Go and have an amazing week!

Challenge to motivate you!!!

So I’ve managed to run/ jog/ power walk. I’m taking it easy to avoid injuries and pains such as shin splints which I tend to get if I go out too fast and push it too much at first. I also started with a 10 minutes yoga session with Adriene this morning. 1 day done, 6 more days to go. In all fairness, exercise is for me anyway a lifestyle choice. Right now I’m choosing to incorporate that in my life. My goal… is to make it a regular habit more and more and less of a chore. Without a doubt I feel tons better when running, cycling or doing my yoga. How are you all doing? Maybe you are doing this already? Come on otherwise give this challenge a go!!! Only 30 minutes per day… you know it makes sense… I so recommend!!!

Challenge Yourself!

I will start with the challenges again. Not sure if this inspires anyone but I truly hope so?! I really do not want these to be a chore of some sort- more the type of challenge that makes you think a little? Things primarily to focus on you and health. Health is such a big word as well and it means so much. I would like to say that it has a lot to do with how you feel. Right? Think about what are healthy people in your opinion. Are they all beautiful slim people? I don’t think so. Health is what you radiate, vibrations. If you feel good, you most likely will radiate this, this is contagious and you will look healthy. Of course it is important to eat well, exercise, sleep well, reduce stress moments in your life, think happy thoughts and so on. Health truly is a balance and a mix of many things. I personally also think sometimes that I eat to keep my soul happy. By that I mean that I know it might not be considered something that the mainstream would consider healthy options. But for me, that is also important. If I want a piece of chocolate, or eat some fries- well then I do that. Plain…and simple… It is so important that food does not become something contentious. Food should be enjoyable! Exercise is something that is important though. It is important to be and to feel healthy. That is why I will challenge you all to focus 30 minutes every day this week on some form of exercise: Running, cycling, swimming, football, yoga, pilates. Whatever you fancy- BUT…the goal is that you dedicate 30 minutes to this every day for 7 days starting tomorrow. Are you in? This is investing in yourself long term. My goal is to make exercise become more part of my daily routine, without it being a chore. A challenge- yes! But so important- to feel good, to radiate and to be and to feel healthy! I so recommend!
