This weeks challenge will be to make a conscious choice. A conscious choice of what you actually put in your body. Ok now I might lose half of the people who read my posts- another diet? But oh no. That does not work for me! Trust me, I admire people who stick to diets, eat in particular ways, are vegetarians, vegans, eat paleo and so on. I just know it’s not for me. I love food! And for me it’s extremely important to have a healthy attitude to food. Especially as I have a 9 year old daughter. In no way do I want to create a strange relationship to food. Eating should be enjoyable and something you look forward to. My motto instead is to eat a little bit of everything- in moderation and ideally incorporate daily exercise. I know very well that’s easier said than done! But for this week I will make a conscious choice of thinking about what I eat and drink. I know that it makes a difference- if nothing else in the way I feel. Being a bit healthier will do me good. But don’t worry I will never stop enjoying a piece of chocolate or a slice of pizza. I just know… that recently I have been a bit too indulgent which is quite easy in Copenhagen where they do amazing pastries and where the access to the type of sweets I grew up with is too near for my good right now. Will you join me? This will be a challenging challenge for me, but one of which I will be extremely proud of if I succeed in thinking about healthier choices for a while! And if I can do this- so can you! Come on and join me, you know it makes sense!!!
Every week I start with good intentions, like you not to exclude things, but to do what’s best for my body. Every week has good choices and not so good. So, yes! I’m with you.

That sounds excellent! I have to admit it’s easy for me to hand in the towel and to give in to good things- by that I mean the more I unhealthier choices- especially towards the evenings! But this week I’ll really make an effort and it’ll be easier if I know others are joining my quest! All to make us feel better- great even!
