This weeks challenge will be to make a conscious choice. A conscious choice of what you actually put in your body. Ok now I might lose half of the people who read my posts- another diet? But oh no. That does not work for me! Trust me, I admire people who stick to diets, eat in particular ways, are vegetarians, vegans, eat paleo and so on. I just know it’s not for me. I love food! And for me it’s extremely important to have a healthy attitude to food. Especially as I have a 9 year old daughter. In no way do I want to create a strange relationship to food. Eating should be enjoyable and something you look forward to. My motto instead is to eat a little bit of everything- in moderation and ideally incorporate daily exercise. I know very well that’s easier said than done! But for this week I will make a conscious choice of thinking about what I eat and drink. I know that it makes a difference- if nothing else in the way I feel. Being a bit healthier will do me good. But don’t worry I will never stop enjoying a piece of chocolate or a slice of pizza. I just know… that recently I have been a bit too indulgent which is quite easy in Copenhagen where they do amazing pastries and where the access to the type of sweets I grew up with is too near for my good right now. Will you join me? This will be a challenging challenge for me, but one of which I will be extremely proud of if I succeed in thinking about healthier choices for a while! And if I can do this- so can you! Come on and join me, you know it makes sense!!!
