Focus, vision, goal and affirmation!

Focus is on breathing. Such a great tool for managing calmness. To attract calmness and to relax. Very well mind has some great tips for how to and that by breathing you can cleanse your mind. It’s easy and you could do this anywhere: focus on your breathing. Visualising yourself in a happy and safe place. See yourself as strong and confident. You know where you’re going- you know your goal. See it in front of you. Be grateful:”be grateful for where you’re at, be grateful and excited about where you’re going” repeat this to yourself many times. Go back to basic, be strong and confident. I so… recommend! Have an amazing week!!!

Sunday cleanse

Sunday today. It will be a relaxing day spent with family. It’ll also be an opportunity to cleanse and clear. Wardrobes, cupboards and bookshelves to be emptied out and organised. It’s an opportunity to clear and cleanse on the outside but also on the inside!

This morning smoothie will be filled of:

  • Almond milk
  • Spinach
  • Piece of ginger
  • Apple slices
  • Chia seeds

Then followed by some medium cooked eggs on typical crisp bread. Also focusing on the good, the now and what we have. Try and not rush the future so much. Isn’t the now really the best time? Life can be stressful at times and full of pressure. We all react different to stress. A little bit of stress is good- it keeps the mind focused. Too much though is very bad for you and your immune system. Then it’s time to go back to basic. That’s when I personally turn to reorganising, clearing and cleansing. Taking deep breathes, take up more yoga and meditation. Simply going back to basic and enjoying the here and the now! To look after one self… enjoy your Sunday and make the most of it!!! I so… recommend…!

Vintage shopping and sustainability

The threat to the environment is getting quite a lot of focus. This is clearly something that hits a nerve with some people. Are we at a stage where we really need to take action now? It is a difficult concept to grasp- at least for some and you could end up in many debates of the state of the environment today. I’m personally thinking of changing what I do today a little. I do think that each and every one of us can make a difference… I’m also inspired by another lady who blogs and who writes a lot about sustainability Tess Montgomery . For almost a year now, she’s bought one item a month to her wardrobe as a statement piece. I do find that inspiring. So much, that I’m going to clear out unworn items in my wardrobe and donate to the nearest charity. Just to make sure I won’t miss any items, I will pack clothes and shoes in bags and leave them in our basement for 2 months- then set a date in my calendar when they will be shipped off.

Another thing I will do is to explore vintage shops here in Copenhagen. In my experience I’ve honestly never been a big fan of buying used items BUT I really think that today these kind of shops have changed. So definitely something to explore. Instead of thinking “second hand” think “vintage” and “sustainability”. I will really make a go if this in 2020… clean wardrobes, less things, more vintage and sustainability… are you with me? I so… recommend!!!

Focus, vision, goal and affirmation!

Greetings to you all! Here is a beautiful autumn day with frost in the orange coloured leaves. Winter is approaching. This is one of my favourite time of year. Focus this week is on remaining calm. To remember to breathe. Visualise getting over that particular hurdle and to see success. In many aspects of life we all have to overcome challenges. A lot on how to actually do this is to see success in front of you. Whether it’s job related, family related or other. You can do this!

Goal is to simply get there. To decide to take the plunge and just do it. Affirmation to say out loud a few times everyday ” you have the power to accomplish everything you do!” Take deep breathes, focus, see yourself on the other side and already feel what it’ll be like once you’ve jumped over this fence!

I so recommend!!!
