Cliff diving in Copenhagen

We were away when this took place in Copenhagen this year. It is however something I’m putting in my calendar now for next year: the Red Bull Cliff Diving.

At first I just wanted to share with you information about the Opera house here. It’s a spectacular building! It’s one of the most modern opera houses in the world. And it cost a whopping USD500M?! Talk about having a vision- and financial support!!! I will definitely make sure to go there soon and listen to something when it comes up and I have the opportunity. I’m sure that’ll be an amazing experience. Have you been? Then what I find even more spectacular, is that once a year this building turns into a diving board. Skilled divers from all over the world come here to compete and dive from the rooftop at 27m hight straight into Copenhagen harbour. I also don’t know many places in the world where you can actually swim in the city centre. Copenhagen is a very green city and a lot of effort goes into make sure it stays that way.

So this is something I really recommend: a blend of culture, green environment and filled with action and excitement!

Convinced it’s the small things in life that we need to focus on to ensure we live a happy life. Love sharing experiences and recommendations and starting to understand that positivity is very contagious!

  1. I was in Copenhagen in January 2016. What an amazing city it is. We stayed for about 10 days and had a wonderful time visiting all the ‘tourist’ attractions, which included a ferry ride past the Opera House and on to the Little Mermaid. I would revisit this lovely city in a moment; we truly felt very welcome! Perhaps, if there is a ‘next’ time we will go during the warmer months to get another perspective… πŸ™‚
