This weeks challenge- use what you already have

This weeks challenge is going to be focusing on using what you already have. I know personally how easy it is to forget what you already have. Look in your wardrobes, kitchen drawers & cupboards, make- up boxes, boxes in the attic, basement, garage. Do you use what you have? Would/ could you give things away/ sell or bin? Go through what you have and make sure you use it. Do you really need to buy that new coat- maybe you already have one in storage? Do you really need more plates for your kitchen? Perhaps you have some already packed away in boxes somewhere? And who knows, maybe you’ll find that treasured item that you thought you lost years ago?! Come on, let’s do it! You know it makes perfect sense!!!

Convinced it’s the small things in life that we need to focus on to ensure we live a happy life. Love sharing experiences and recommendations and starting to understand that positivity is very contagious!

  1. Great post! Yes, I forget what I have sometimes even it’s right in front of me bcuz I’m so used to seeing it. This is why I try to be a Minimalist. Excellent advice!

      1. Yes, I clean out my things every so often. I get overwhelmed with too much stuff! I like pretty, glittery things, but will go and see these things at the stores; no need to buy them and clutter up my place. I only keep things that I can really get use from- practical items.

      2. I think that’s a great idea- window shopping. I try to really think about items I really need and if I feel the same weeks after- and I really actually need it- I buy it 😌🙏🏻

  2. You are right! Many times we have way too many things that we have even forgotten that we have! So it is great to put them in good use:)
