New challenge- read a book!

So the quest continues. Of course it is completely up to you what challenges you decide to join and partake in. My goal is to inspire you! The small things in life really truly make a difference and I want you to feel that. Hence my persistence in these different type of challenges. Maybe it’ll make you think slightly different about something but also realise that it is you- your actions- that make a difference in your life! You are the master here.

This week I challenge you to read a book every day for 30 minutes. I used to read books a lot when I grew up. I have a vivid memory of spending the majority of a summer on our balcony on mattresses, blankets and cushions under a blue sunny sky just devouring one book after the other. I fully realise and acknowledge this was an honour and privilege to be able to do this. Completely!

The world is different today and now we have all these gadgets to read from. Which I also love. I do however think that books is something which will never become out of fashion. There is simply nothing that can replace a book. The smell, the feel or the excitement of actually physically turning to the next page. I recommend you to look in your bookshelves, in the attic, to browse amongst shelves and boxes- wherever you keep your books. Come on and do it- you know it makes perfect sense to delve into the world of adventure, crime, history, magic, reality and self help books! I truly recommend!

    1. Well I always intend to and can manage to read a book or two at times when on holiday. I just want myself to find my way back to physical books a bit more. They are amazing and a different world compared to our iPhones and computers πŸ˜ŒπŸ™πŸ»

      1. Yes I spend at least a little tome each day with a book. Holding a book is like patting an animal- it calms and lowers the blood pressure:)
